A few small tips about a duck with possibly injured nerves: Give him some sugar what, it perks em' up. Also confined spaces keep the duck from trying to run or put to much pressure on joints. Baths in the sink(or the bathtub, depending on size) also help, because it lets the duck exercise without putting pressure on the legs on wings. 
Trust me, my ducky went through this a few months ago, and all that I said really helps!

I'm sorry your duck isn't better Erin. I hope he doesn't have anything fatal.
