Well this morning the eggs have started to pip! Very excited :) They are americauna eggs under my broody hens and each hen has 4 eggs except one she has just two because one broke and the other got eaten.

Oh these are americauna eggs but two of 12 broke...well now three. Stupid hens broke one and its dented and cracked and all bloody but the chick in there is still peeping but it will be almost impossible to hatch oh gosh I have no clue what to do!!!!

Yeah it's quite frustrating. I don't know if he will make it. He hadn't even pipped but the cracked the egg he's still in there it's all bloody and not I'm not sure if he can pip and momma hen was trying to help but not anymore!!! Why do chickens have to make things so difficult sometimes?!

I'm sorry. Sometimes things just don't work out as planned. I hope the others do well. Of every ones hatch that I've heard of something like this always happened or the chick dies or something. It's sad but just the way it is I guess. If the chick is bleeding and the hen has given up on it then It's probably not going to make it :(
