Hehe. Today my mom and I are covering the chicken run with plastic so no snow will get inside of it. This is our first year doing it, and so far it has turned out to be a great idea! No wind either!
 
Hey everyone it has been a very long time! I hope everyone's chickens are doing good. A lot has happened in the past few months. I have nineteen chickens now, two ducks, a ringneck pheasant, and three quail. Sadly my silkie hen, Malibu, passed away randomly a few weeks ago :( I am not sure why but she had become very thin. I also lost two of my bantams due to an unkown predator, came home oneday to them dead in the yard with their heads gone, not a pretty sight :( I have kept my chickens in the pen since then but decided to let them out again today. Hope everyone had a good Christmas!
