Just get it and use it anyway. Who knows, I found it cures botulism, it might cure mareks.

Oh my gosh my baby has hatched and guess what?!!IT's Nugget's Baby!!! Ahhhh It's so cute!!! IT looks like an australorp but it's really an AustralorpXBLRW!!! Is it normal for him to be a but weak and to have a weak neck? Mine weren't like that under the broody hen. I think it's because he was crammed in the egg for so long. Two more have pipped!!!

Give him/her some Poly-vi-sol with no iron, that's the only thing I changed to make my Marek's roo a survivor. He had Marek's for 6-7 months, but I decided to give him Poly-vi-sol and he was back on his feet the next week.

I use 1mL of Poly-vi-sol with no iron per gallon. So if your going to take water from a quart, 0.5 mL of Poly-vi-sol with no iron. Then you can drip feed him/her at the corners of his/her mouth so it will actually get in.

Best wishes Erin

Just get it anyway. Try it! I know what 'they' say! But does it matter? It won't kill him, it might save him, and if it does, then when other get it, you can save them too! Just try it and see!
And yeah, that's normal, they work so hard to get out of eggs.

I know but my mom won't take me and we don't have any store around here that has it :( I'm giving him 'baby' Asprin. I might take him for a 'walk' today to get fresh air. I wonder if there is anything else to use.....my chicken DR said asprin and a mixture of stuff.

Okay that's what I thought.....It was just worrying me. All I do is worry worry worry

Well anyway I'll get pics of the baby soon. And this is the first time I acctually hatched something out of an incubator. So I'm really excited anxious and nervous. Two more pipped but haven't had any more progress lately.......should I help them?
