I know a lot because I have had lots of chickens for 6 years and we have a lot of high production breeds which are weaker, so more sicknesses to learn from.
I've had chickens for almost two years. Not as long but my animals are my life I do nothing else no other activities so I spend most of my time with my chickens. I've noticed good egg layers mostly get egg bound, like sex links and stuff. I also noticed chickens from breeders are more likely to get mites, worms or get sick than birds from hatcheries.
