Well I set them at night so maybe the will hatch at night.
I have 38 and we don't have enough free-ranging space because most is woods. And our hen house and run is too small unfortunatly. And we go through a LOT of feed. I don't want to sell some but may have too.
I have 24 chickens a we pay a little over 120$ a month on feed costs for them..

That's probably how much I pay....we go through almost a bag a week :/
I am working on only feeding my chickens and ducks twice a day. The pheasants and quail get fed once a day so I don't go through much gamebird feed. But with 38 chickens a 4 huge ducks I go through a lot of laying feed :/

My quail are PIGS. They go through an entire dish of food in like 20 minutes

They are bottomless pits!
 
I feed mine twice a day, and keep water fresh around them. In the winter they chow down what seems like 20lbs a day.
Same here. But mine free range too so they get bugs and stuff.
