Same here! But we're going to let the broody's do it. My mom has been calling people to see if they have fertile eggs since my rooster just died.

Monday my mom and I are calling 4-H and seeing if we can use one of their bucks to breed with our Cho. Mini Rex. *Hoping they have the same breed as her* but then after about 1 week or so, we'll give the buck back. Then when the kits are older almost ready to be weaned, the 4-H gets first pick of the litter. Yay... little purebred babies .

I have rabbits, too! Could you refresh my memory as to the *kind* of rabbit mini-rexes are? I've heard of them, but I can't remeber if they're meat, fiber, or pets. We just have two California whites right now, since we had to downsize. (This is REALLY small compared to the former 40-some rabbits we once had)

Well, mini-rexs have REALLY velvety fur (Or, I think it's like that) And is a smaller breed, I don't think they're used for meat. Mine has a little "double-chin"

We're going to have brownie bred with one of my mom's friends polish. Either a chocolate polish, or a broken chocolate polish. =/ I can't decide!
