Two students set to graduate and go to their senior prom will not be doing either, in addition to being charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing for pushing some live chickens through an open window at their high school in the middle of the night:

My initial reaction was "serves 'em right" for traumatizing the poor birds, but then I remembered how senior pranks have always been a rite of passage at high schools.

What do you think? How about a less severe punishment -- like cleaning out chicken coops for a year of community service?

I don't think they should miss their prom or graduation ceremony when it appears the chickens were not hurt.

I have no sense of humor when it comes to using animals for things like that...
Not cool at all ...
I think the punishment is fine... its not too hard..and not too soft, for messing with LIVE animals, i'd say they got off pretty easy......
Also..it said chickens bought from a store...wonder if they were chicks that needed heat?
Doesnt matter though... you dont use animals in prank jokes like that..and you dont do it to OTHERS property either.....

AND the parent thats defending her sons behavior is a loser... no wonder he thinks it okay to do things like that.... wonderful role model.

Just my opinion, as usual..

According to the video the were adult chickens.

They still get to graduate, they just can't walk.

As for the punishment, IDK. Senior pranks are common, but as far as I know they don't usually involve live animals much anymore. I think no going to prom is fine, but I would probably still let them walk.
