Well, for anyone that cares.... I'm in Doniphan, Missouri on Current River. Its about an three hours east of Springfield and about an hour east of West Plains. Anyone near me?

We are just a tad north of you behind Greenville! Been to Doniphan a couple of times. We like the little bbq place by mickey d's. Do you have East Indie Blacks?

I am originally from Branson area but live around Springfield now. Got family in NE Oklahoma, NW Arkansas, and SW MO since we have been here since the 1830's. Got my first batch of chicks in the brooder right now and got the ok from most of the neighbors about the chickens (I will be guerilla raising them since I don't own at least 2.9 acres outside city limits) Although I built the coolest looking coop around with an Ozarky feel to it.
