Ive got a 13yo domestic chicken (1kg) who has stayed alone in the toilet his entire life. Heres a breakdown of his health and current status:

-there was a lice/mites infestation in the toilet and eggs were seen on his head. Managed to get rid of the eggs.
-developed a ear infection which only realised 6mths after. Head started to turn backwards and loss of balance. Stopped eating and drinking since 13apr. Vet took out a huge chunk of ear wax one week after but still unable to walk normally and eat for himself
-seizures started to appear. lasting about 1-2mins.
-blood test on 30apr shows dehydration (vet gave plasmalyte), some form of liver disease (chloramphenicol, milk thistle given) and suspected sour crop (metoclopramide given). all of these medication to be taken. at the vet place, my chicken was given 2 injections namely plasmalyte and metoclopramide.
-the same day upon returning from the vet, his left feet completely folded and was walking on his knuckles. it was very painful to watch. he was totally fine before the visit. not sure what happen?
-seizures continued till 3may.
-somehow from 4may, there was no seizures. went to another vet and meloxicam was prescribed. his condition seems to be improving. i made a splint for his left feet and he could walk without folding them.
-5may, went to another vet. side view of xray shows no signs of kidney problems so we were able to rule out signs of that affecting the feet nerves. there was gas in the crop, what could it be? the lungs seems lightly clouded? some liquid or food got in while feeding? unable to take the front view as sedation was risky due to poor health. vet gave probiotics and multi vits on top of the rest of the earlier meds.
-9may, he was pooping alot, walking and exploring too. and using his wings for balance.
-10may after breakfast, he got really quiet and then seizures and vomitting started. could it be he regurgitated and it went to his lungs causing the seizures? managed to get him to vomit out some liquid n food from his crop. heavy breathing, couldnt stand, couldnt open his eyes, totally weaken.
-11may he was put in emergency care with oxygen given for the entire day. vet commented that fluids were coming out from his nose and couldnt understand why? vet commented that his breathing wasnt right and suspected stuffs in his lungs. 2 injections given, meloxicam and frusemide. he was much better in the evening and could open his eyes and stand a little. his crop still feels full.
-12may. crop still feels full. had been on a liquid diet of water and coconut water with his meds. his poop is now a string like. green tubes. is that normal? i will monitor him through the night and hydrate him with coconut water every hr. hopefully his crop will reduce.

attached is his current poop. normal? does anyone has similar experience on the entire situation? any advice will help greatly. i want him back up and kicking. hurts to be so helpless. if only he could talk

I don't know that I have the right answer, but your chicken is quite old for a domestic chicken. It seems that you have taken better care of him than most chickens will ever receive. I am an audiologist (hearing doctor) by trade and it never even occurred to me that chickens could have ear wax! The reality is, given his age his health issues will likely continue. I hope someone else can offer better advice, but my advice is continue to love and care for him as you are. You aren't helpless. You are doing more than most of us would and bless you for that. I wish you and your old man the very best.
