Thanks everyone for the nice compliments.

I still have the run to complete, 10 X 20 chain-link dog run from TSC. I am retired so I have more time to play around with projects like this but I have enjoyed it. I also want to thank everyone on BYC for all the great information and ideas I was able to obtain before I started. We have lived in the city all our working careers and this is the first time having any livestock so a lot of time spent doing research to prepare.

Thanks again everyone for you kind remarks.

Final Pictures of Coop, Run and Chicks.

Coop with run made from dog kennel panels from Tractor Supply. Size is 10 X 20 ft
I also have 1/2 X 1/2 in Hardware Cloth around the bottom of the chain link panels.
Chicks have been in coop now since last of May and they are now 17 weeks old.
13 hens and 2 roo's

Run roof is covered with 2 X 4 in welded wire and 1/2 is also covered with a tarp for shade.

As you can see from my first post of the baby chicks they have grown a lot and
seem to be happy.

The plastic water jug gets tipped over every day so I think I will add a hanging 2 gal one.

So far the Roo's are not trying to hurt each other so I will try to keep both.
