local lady not sure what she has.. whatcha think?

Not any pure breed I have ever seen. If she got them from hatchery, that is not a suprise that it is claimed to be pure and is not. acidents happen. This bird is Ameracauna headed, Marans from the neck to the feet, Silkie from the feet down...so....it's an AmeraMaraSilkie bird.... I think.

Sorry, but he's not a purebred. If he indeed has five toes, I'm in agreement with the silky, partridge cochin or rock cross.

Given that he has a crest, beard, muffs, feathered legs, and 5 toes, he could be a Sultan crossed with Ameraucana or Easter Egger. He doesn't show any of the typical skin coloration that would indicate a Silkie.

She is a very nice lady.. and trying to figure out what he is to advertise him '-).. I think her best bet is to say a pretty "crossbreed"..
