Location and climate

Just wondering if mites prefer warmer climates like Florida or are they just as prevalent in Mass where I am.

I don't know of anywhere mites aren't around. In Colorado we get hot summers and cold winters and have treated for mites almost every year. Rodents and possibly wild birds are likely carriers.

Mites and lice are common just about everywhere.
