This is second time incubating,:woot the first time I laid them down but I didn't like the way they Moved around. I had to move the incubator a little and they rolled some. then I didn't have a view of all of them because they where in corners So they wouldn't move as much. What can I do without egg cartons and just laying them there? :)
EDIT
and so I can see them all

Thank-you for you input :)But I'm trying to stay away from the cartons. I want them to have wiggle room, I like seeing them rock and roll, It tells me there is some life.

What's the capacity of your bator, and how many eggs in lock down? I've seen some people make a little paper towel nest for each egg. I've seen some people put them in little paper muffin cups. I wonder if either of those options would restrict air flow and thus affect your heat distribution.

The bator can hold up to 48 egg, I only have 13 in now. The paper thing has got me thinking maybe I can cut a hole in the bottom of a paper muffin cup to still have good air flow through the bottom. and that should help keep them in place without restriction. What do you think?
