My lock down has started - hatching due of 40 light sussexs and some blue laced wyandottes on Sunday the 14th

Measured the humidity (hopefully) well this time and have my fingers crossed for good hatchability rates!

I have 11 eggs in a friends incubator... Due to hatch tomorrow and Sunday. 7 Ameraucanas and 4 Marans. I hope they all hatch.

cool, hope all goes well for you!! Have a few maran hens myself, although never hatched any out yet- maybe next time tho! How do you rate the marans overall, good health, good layers??

Let me know how things go for you and good luck

I have a total of 12 in lockdown due tomorrow, trying to keep humidity above 65 as last hatches were poor and I think it was due to low humidity.
I have one pipping a white orpington and the rest????? Don't know if I will be able to sleep!!

I have 4 eggs in lockdown, which was supposed to be today but due to early rocking they went in Friday. No pips yet though.

How did everything go with the hatches??

I had 33/40 - which is a pretty good result!!!
