Right now my humidity is at 80 percent should i open it up and lower the humidity. And If so how do i do that (i have a hova-bator). I should have the humidity at 65-70 percent.

Yes you need to get the humidity down. I actually hatch with mine closer to 50%..... to high and you get sticky chicks....
Good luck

How do i get it down. Just open up the incubator and let the vapor leave it or will there still be a lot of water vapor in there.

Durring the last three days your humidity should be at 75-80

its only durring the first 18 days it should be at 50.

Humidity that is too low at the time of hatch can cause chicks to get stuck to/into their shells. They simply dry out too fast. After they hatch, you can bring the humidity down (the styrofoam incubators have plugs to pull out at that time) to help "fluff" them up.
