lock down

Help....I have Chinese Goose eggs incubating for 2 weeks now, so I figure they will hatch on the 27th or there about. I think chicken eggs go in lockdown 3 days before hatching. What about goose eggs?

I went into lockdown today - 1st time hatcher - beyond nervous - only 1 out of 15 eggs were clear so I tossed it. But the air sacs of some seemed kind of weird, like uneven? These are Marans eggs, so I don't know if they are alive or what?
Besides that, I installed the fan in the LG incubator, but the temps are still several degrees difference top to bottom - talk about frustrating! I'm not expecting any to hatch - do I sound pessimistic?
