Lockdown? Broody? Hmmm? HELP!

Ok I've got a broody but, I've been reading... does the broody (Eunice) do everything that is needed for the "lockdown" phase?

Hens have been hatching chicks for thousands of years. Relax. The broody has it under control.

Also, since it IS "lockdown" that means YOU don't bother HER for that period of time. She's your incubator. Let her be.

Yup.

mama hen will do everything needed for the chickies to hatch.

remember not to mess with her or anything like the others said, because that could mess everything up. the only thing YOU need to provide is a extra pen for them when they hatch (away from the other chickens) and some starter feed.

oh! and a waterer low enough for the babies.

Ok... so if I understand, I can't lift her up to make sure she is only on five eggs?
