My genesis has been holding steady at 99.6 for the entire incubation, but once I added water early this morning it won't go any higher than 98.8!! What happened? Am I going to lose my eggs? :( It was warm water, but this was way earlier today. It should've warmed up for sure by now.

You should be fine! It might take 24 hrs to completely come back to 99.6. Does your Genesis have the digital temperature and humidity display?

I don't think you will lose any eggs. The same thing happened to my incubator when I added water in the second trough on the morning of lockdown. The water takes awhile to absorb the heat. Even after I waited for four hours that day after putting my eggs on lockdown it took several hours after of adjusting to get it back to temperature it was before. So it pretty much took a whole day. Your eggies should be fine :)
