Ok so I set around 150idh eggs, I received extras so my rails was maxed out. I have a janoel 48 incubator and I’ve had around 8 chicks who hatched but I found dead in the incubator. I thought the piling I’ve witnessed the first day caused the first deaths but I’ve taken all those chicks out and today I’ve found 2 more and 5 other chicks that’s alive and moving. So far I have around 50 that made it
PS: any guessing on what chicks I have. I know for sure some golds and 2 tuxedo. I ordered feathered sex, German, and gold. I think they sent me jumbo as extras.

How long were they in the incubator after they hatched? What temp? What humidity? How many chicks were in the incubator at any given time?

That's a pretty high death rate for hatched chicks.

24hrs and the ones that died had to be less then that. The first day of hatching it was around 30 or so chicks. And I think some were trampled, they were in the middle of incubator where the chicks were piling. I’m buying a new thermometer today I don’t think this one was accurate. Humidity was around 67. I’m not sure if these was chicks that ever was up and moving

It sounds like they were overcrowded, which contributes. I know that people say they can stay in the incubator for 24 hours, but I take mine out in batches as soon as they're dry. If they hatched, they were moving at some point.

Good luck with the rest of your chicks!

Thanks for advice, yes I assumed that as well, I’ve been taking them out as I see them dry, that first hatch I could’ve taken more out when I first seen them. Lesson learned. Now the hard part of deciding what to keep. I may have to wait untill they start feathering out
