As lockdown slowly gets closer, I have a couple eggs I've decided I want to prop up or mostly up for some saddlebags. I see the common recommendation for egg cartons, had anyone successfully used the egg stands that come in egg decorating kits? I'll add a photo for reference. I see an advantage of more open surface area. Would something like this work just as easily?

It would depend on the incubator. My one cabinet incubator it would. The other cabinet incubator this would not work.

They'll wobble and fall over with those. If your goal is to hatch them upright then use an egg carton. You can always cut holes in the bottoms. Personally I'd just hatch them on their sides per usual.
