Lockdown scheduled for tomorrow. Hatching started today!

Was excited to be going into final days of hatching when I heard...peep, peep, peep. Looked in the viewer and sure enough I have 2 pippped and well on the way to zipping.

So much for lockdown....lol.

O forgot to tell you that the silkie eggs "could" be pure. I had a partridge rooster that was seen mating with my hen a few times, but over all my Brahma got her more often. Curious to see what the cross would look like - I would love to work on silkied LB's eventually, lol! Big AND beautiful! Or maybe some big ol' huge silkies.......

Pure silkies would be a nice surprise! I like the mixed just as much tho'. The surprise of what pops out is great!
