I have 4 Black Spanish Turkey eggs set to lockdown this Friday, this is my first time incubating eggs , so far so good, all eggs are looking good. I doubt I'll find anyone locking down turkey eggs on the same exact day as me, but chicken eggs or any other kind of egg is just as good. I'd love to swap experiences step by step, or should I say pip by pip :)

I set 41 eggs this morning! I have 36 bantam: silver sebright, golden sebright, creole! The best part, I don't know who is who! I'll have to see what pops out to know what I have and how many of each! I also have 3 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte eggs and 2 blue eggs from my easter egger and the dad could be my black tailed bantam or BLRW rooster who is only 6 months old! I don't know what the incubation on turkey eggs is but I hope all goes great! My first two hatches this season haven't been too great but I'm optimistic and hopefully these new chickens will hatch out just fine! I know my George (my bantam roo) would love to have some ladies his own size! He tries so hard with the big girls! That's why I'm hatching out some blue eggs. I think he would make beautiful babies with "Hawk Girl" as I call her!

This is George up top!
And his lady below, Hawk Girl!

They don't like oranges, as you can see by the orange in the grass that no one touched! Lol!
