Ok - new to the hatching in an incubator. I am on day 17 with my 20 silkie eggs, all are doing wonderfully. I just got 2 dozen more silkie eggs this morning in the mail....do I set them? I don't want them to get old - the others don't hatch until Wednesday. I am sure you guys will have a solution - I hope you can help...my second batch are beautiful Porto eggs....help!

    Thanks so much! [IMG]

You can do a couple things... You canstore them until the bator is ready ..If so keep them in a cools place and be sure to turn three times daily.. Or you can toss em in right before you do lockdown.. i really dont think the extra humidity will hurt and I have been stuck at wrok before the first three days of a set and they werent turned had a 92% hathc rate....

I would put them in before lockdown. It shouldn't hurt them at all.
