Thank you. The type of incubator I have is the Janoel12, so it only has a small hole for an air vent, as a result the humidity is high to like, 70%. I've had the lid open a little to lower the humidty throughout incubation though. So the air cells are a good size.37.5c is the optimum temp for incubation so 38.1c is a tad high. This may result in your hatch being early and possibly some problems with your chicks due to the higher temp over the incubation period. I’m not saying this will certainly happen but it’s a possibility.
Personally I don’t change my temp during lockdown but the humidity goes up to at least 65% with all vents fully open to get as much oxygen in the incubator as possible. It’s vital the chicks have enough air during the hatching process.
