What should the eggs look like if you candle them a day or 2 before lockdown? You can barley see even an air pocket in one of them. Is it still alive? Will you see any movement in them?

Once the chicks / eggs reach about day 16, I have found it really hard to see much in the shell because it is just so full of chick and they don't have to much room to move around. I'm not sure what to tell you about the air cell. You should be able to see an air cell. Has the humidity been kept at the right levels the whole time?

no thats not it should take up about 1/3 of the egg (give or take)
leave the egg for now but if there is no air cell and the egg is dark either you are candling with too weak a light, or not in a dark enough spot
or the egg is bad
