Lockdown

Have entered lockdown can i still candle eggs to check for bad eggs ,have heard off exploding eggs so would like to be sure none in there ,thanks:/

Well you should have candled before lockdown but I think that you can candle now.

If you just entered lockdown you can still candle. But if you've been in lockdown for a day or so already you can't candle. The whole purpose of lockdown is so the chick can position itself to hatch correctly, and moving the egg isn't going to help.
