For anybody following this I had another question. I started building the front baller aviary and it ended up being a little bit shallower than I would have liked at 18”. With that being said, will I need to add an additional landing board that protrudes the front aviary when it is open for landing?

Are you saying the landing board is 18 inches out? If so, that is big enough.

Well the trapping cage is 18 in deep and I wasn’t sure if I needed to go another 18 out from that so there was no overhang/top on it. If that makes any sense, and Thankyou!!!!

I would go out more, if there's no board for them to hit, and then go into the trapping cage.
