LOL, ducklings chasing light from flashlight :)

I was checking in the incubator when I thought I would see what the little ducklings in the brooder thought of the light from the flashlight. I made it go back and forth across the bottom of the brooder and they kept chasing it, trying to EAT it,lol.

Used to have a dog that would do that with any light...she would chase it all over, run across the house watching it on the ceiling too!

Three of my ducklings in a brooder recently were having a delightful time pecking at a little sunlight shining throught the window onto the top of their box. They were jumping up to get it...but every time they jumped - the light dissapeared and was shininig onto the back of their heads instead....

I think its funny how ours get so low to the ground and run after the light.

They also play "king of the water bowl", whoever can shove the other one out, wins.
