I know how she feels! Been in the mid 90s around here. My poor girls walk around with thier wings spread and stand in water any chance they get.

Gotta go with everyone else. Sorry, looks like my Americanas, without the beard. Might be finding a pretty green egg in a nest box soon!

It hit 116 here today and my hens all had their wings spread and were panting. I put a bag of ice from McDonalds in their waterer and they all tried to get next to it. I've got a fan in the coop and the coop is in the shade but at 116 it doesn't help much. Forecast is for 115 today and over 110 for the rest of the week. I went out with a hose and wet down the roof of the coop last night and noticed that they were all on their roosts panting. I hope they make it through July. They were 8 weeks yesterday.
