Few weeks ago I hatched some Black Copper Marans and purchased a week old Sapphire Gems, a friend of mine gave me a day old bantam Amerecauna that hatch the same time w/ FBCMs which is almost a third of a size of the other chicks.
Fast forward 4 wks later, the bantam is a 4th the size of the rest of them, my concern is, Is there a chance that this little peanut will survive the “giants” she seems like getting push and knocked easy by “trial flyers” and my oldest daughter got so attached to her that she even name her little Raisin (all our chickens have no name) am not sure I can give her away. Anyone raised a lone bantam w/ “giants” successfully? I never had bantams before.
