Lone chicken

Oh alright, thank you! I will definitely post the chickens when they come out. This is my first time incubating chickens, and I was worried about the fact that it wasn’t eating. That explains it! This is my second time raising chickens, but my first time incubating them myself. I hope you have a great day!
You too! Any more questions feel free to ask! Someone should be able to help you gladly!

If you have a cookie cooling rack and a heating pad, you can also make the chick a "mama heating pad" - there is a whole forum about it you can search for. But basically stick the heating pad on the cooling rack, put bedding under the rack or bend the rack so she can snuggle up right to the heating pat on one side and walk around under it on the other, and lay a hand towel over 2 or 3 sides to keep the warm air in. I like to leave 2 sides open if indoors where it's already pretty warm. It (sort of) simulates snuggling under a mama hen. My three chicks are LOVING it. And they stop peeping and go to sleep for the whole night!

Oh, and you will want to make sure the heating pad does NOT have an auto shut off. Many do.

Here a couple are snuggling under it. I bent the legs of the rack on the back side of the "cave" to make it lower. They go back there if really cold or to sprawl out under the warmth. Otherwise, they hang out in the front half when they aren't running around like hooligans.
