Lone day old poult...let mama raise it or brood with some chicks

I have a turkey hen who hatched out a single poult yesterday (2 failed to make it through the hatch and the others probably weren't fertile). Should I leave the poult with mom, or get a couple day-old chicks and put them in the brooder. The nest is in a 12x12 horse stall isolated from other poultry and safe from large predators (snakes maybe not).

Should I give mom a chance before I take over? Thanks.

It's an either/or sort of situation. Mom will do a fine job with the poult, and letting her raise it is less work for you. On the other hand, if you remove the poult she will very likely lay a second clutch and brood again more rapidly.

I guess I should give her the benefit of the doubt (she was sat on the nest for 28+ days)...I'll let mama try. Thanks.
