Lone Duckling

hi all-
I have 5 eggs in my incubator right now- two were supposed to hatch yesterday or today, one hatched and one didn’t make it-
My other 3 probably won’t hatch until next week...
Is my lone duckling okay by itself until the others hatch? Or do I need to go get another duckling to keep it company?
I’m worried that he/she won’t eat or drink if they’re alone...

You can show it the food and water just like mama duck give it a mirror without sharp edges and a stuffed animal. Or go get a duckling for it

Yes, use a mirror and a Teddy or soft sock till the others hatch. Then put a wire divider between them for a couple of days till the new ones get their legs...
