So i posted Thursday about the loss of my second last hen. I only have one hen remaining in my run. she seems to be singing the egg song multiple times a day. can this be due to distress of being alone? I want to find her a companion as fast as possible. im just in a bit of a situation where i dont have the ability to have seperate coops / runs to keep them physically seperate until they adjust to each other. Any other advice to introducing at least 1 new hen to a pre-existing run? Obviously i dont want them to fight to death if i just introduce a new hen 1 on 1. or is that unlikely? many thanks in advance

i should add my last is a cream legbar so a very docile scared breed, very low on pecking order
