Lone peachick?

Will they even peep at night? I don't want any other kind of bird though, I don't really want chickens, just peafowl.

How long will they be very dependent on your attention? I wouldn't mind carrying around a little peachick around the house, I would like to spend time with it to train it to do things like fly onto my arm or something.

It actually hatched!!!!!

I have to say that it's the cutest thing I've ever seen! It looks like a little ostrich in there! It's so tall!!! I've only hatched chicks till today, so I'm jumping for joy!

When will I be able to tell the sex? And does anyone have a pic of Silver Pied peachicks? It has a lot of white & some sand color. I have call ducklings hatching too... one has hatched so far, so it's not alone in the bator. I wish I could find someone fairly local with peachicks to get it a buddy or two or three!

That is what I was going to figure out an hour ago, but I got caught up watching Harry Potter...The egg from my peahen is at day 13 of incubation and the ones from Deerman are on their first day of incubation. Hopefully the age difference won't cause any problems.
