Lone pigeon

That’s a little odd but not unheard of especially if it’s lost.
If it’s been leaving any droppings on your deck could you please post a picture? There’s a chance it could be ill but it looked alright from the picture earlier.
Here are her droppings. What do you think? It’s dark green.

not good, but she probably isn't sick. It is more likely due to her eating a large portion of greens. are you feeding her? What are you feeding her?
I have given her bird seed and chicken feed. She will only eat the sunflower seeds that are not in the shell. I bought dove feed but it won’t get here till tomorrow. Do you have any suggestions?

One more thing... she doesn’t make any sounds. I had to look up pigeon sounds and I played it for her. She didn’t even notice.

huh, that means she is most likely a hen, or a young bird. i would suggest waiting for the dove feed to come. that will be good. do you have apple cider vinegar? put in two tablespoons per every gallon of water for her. that will help boost her immune system, and make you patio easier to clean. ;)

Thank you! My husband already made a comment about the patio! Will she need anything other then the dove feed? I tried to offer her watermelon... she was not impressed.

Haha, watermelon isn't their thing. If you can, find while raw unsalted peanuts, they love them! she may land on you once she has tried them. break a few in half to encourage her to try them at first. Once she has tried them, she will LOVE them!
