We had our very 1st quail hatch this morning and have left it in the incubator all day but none of the others have yet hatched. A few have cracked and pipped but nothing else is happening.
This poor guy is wondering around the incubator...can we just grab him out super quick or will we ruin the other eggs?
We're even contemplating using a steamer outside of the incubator to try and create some humidity so we don't ruin it but really don't know what to do and don't want to lose this cute little one.
Any help is greatly appreciated

If your incubator regains humidity levels readily, I would remove the chick. Until others hatch you could provide a mirror for 'company'. Good luck with the rest of the hatch.
Quail are fun to hatch, they zip out of the eggs so fast! Good luck with the rest of your hatch!
We now have 3...it is so magical and exciting to watch for the 1st time. My kids are going to be so excited in the morning xxx
