Lonely chick

It is day 20. One chick pipped today, zipped today and hatched. It is all alone in there. There is 3 others who have pipped but the chick that allready hatched is sleeping on top of them. How long will that chick be alone in there??

Your hatching is still early and could go on for 3 - 4 more days

 

[Sugar Sand Farm]

I had that happen to me with this hatch. One little Brahma X hatched 2 days early left him in for 26 hours than decided he was knocking the other eggs around too much so I put him in a brooder with a feather duster. Finally late last night the other started hatching I now have 17 in the brooder but poor little Solo was alone for 2 days and peeped all day and night.
