Hello, we have one male guinea left, that hasn’t been killed by neighbor dogs, and he seems real lonely. He has been hanging around my chicken coop that has 11 hens and 1 rooster. Should I try putting him in with them? He does have his own pen, but just seems real lonely.

They may bully him, but if he’s used to roosting in a coop you could try that yes. I’ve had Guinneas become part of hen flocks before

Thank you for the advise. It’s my husband’s guinea and my chickens, so I will leave it up to him, but wanted to know if it is an option. I feel so sorry for him.

I recommend rehoming him to someone who has a flock of guineas.
