Lonely little duckling

I recently incubated 8 mail order eggs. One was an early quitter. Several issues with the remaining seven and have one completed hatch. So I have one little duckling with no one to snuggle with. Should I order some "friends" or will he/ she thrive on her own?

If you can obtain some company, that would be great. Otherwise a mirror and small stuffed animal might provide a 'flock mate'.

Ducklings always do better with other Ducklings....They are very social animals.....Best wishes....
