Long cream object protruding from vent

I need some help identifying what is wrong with my hen. I noticed her eating some clear discharge in the run this afternoon. Looks like egg whites. No broken shell around. Then I saw this object protruding from her vent. I don't know if it's an organ or what. She is constantly leaking clear fluid from the vent. She layed a normal egg this morning and was acting normal all day. I don't see a prolapsed uterus to shove in, and when I tried to push this back in, it bent in my fingers. Help!!

Looks like part of a soft shell egg to me.

Should I pull it out?

I would very gently pull it out. If it won't come out maybe soak her bottom in was warm water with epson salt.

After some slight tugging, it came out and her vent looks normal again. Life saver!!
