I just got my chicks today! All six are doing well. Immediately drank the save-a-check water and then started eating. I am very excited. I bought my six chicks from My Pet Chicken. I buy my supplies from Chestnut Vale Agway in Hicksville ( I live in Melville ) but LOVE the Away in Riverhead.

Congratulation!! Hey ...welcome. We are neighbors. I live in South Huntington. I do go to the Agway in Riverhead. Love it. We were just there this Saturday. We did the North Fork Hen House Tour. It was one of the stops.

My coop is completed and ready for the girls to be old enough. They are 6 weeks old now and growing so fast! I had to put a net over the brooder.

Welcome! Your coop looks great and congrats on your chicks! Almost done with mine here in Ridge. Darn this weather. All we have to finish is the run and then we can get our chickens! We just installed the automatic door when it came in Friday. I am really chomping at the bit.

I do love the Agway in Riverhead. Was just there last week getting the water and feeders. I went to Neptune Feed for my shavings and feed. Have to go back there today to pick up my Sweet PDZ that is on Back order.
