Long legged chick grows up

My long legged chick has grown up into a nice looking Brahma Roo. He was so long legged he look like he was part Emu. He's Mom was my Black Brahma and he's Dad was my Dark Brahma. I was hopeing he would stay black, but he didn't. Here's a picture of him as a chick and one of him today. He's only 21 weeks old.

Wow... one beautiful roo... and I'll bet he hatched out of a LARGE egg.

Normal sized Brahma egg. He was hatched by a Silkie. He out grew her pretty quick.

You have a black brahma? Where'd you get her?

I hatched her from some eggs I got from a breeder in Florida about a year and half ago. I got his Brahma assortment. She was the only Black to hatch. Here's a picture of her.

That chick does look a bit lanky! But nice looking, healthy little guy, and a beautiful roo. Nice.

I'm sorry but I don't remember his name, but he sometimes sells on eBay. He has light, dark, buff and black brahmas.
