Long pointy Eggs

Our hen that lays torpedo eggs is a white leghorn. She doesn't lay them that shape every time. We don't have dogs and I don't believe she is being affected by any trauma. Also, while all the other leghorn hens' combs lay off to their right, hers lays off to her left.

I don't know why my torpedo egg was a torpedo i bought it and i only had four total purchased eggs so i was going to hatch it. It was worse than op's torpedo, i had to candle it to put it in the incubator correctly.

I had green ones hatch, I put up pics on BYC and people laughed at them but they did hatch.

one of my current eggs is long, I thought I had a pic, but it is under the temp.

One of my sister's Ameraucanas laid this blue bullet a few days ago. I decided to have it for lunch. It filled up the bottom of the small skillet.

5/6 green egg didn't make it. But it was not long.

Every one of these hatched under a broody hen in the middle of a frigid winter.
