really want a young Chocolate Turkey Hen. They are incredibly difficult to come by unless I want to order 20 poults from a hatchery.
If anyone breeds or has Chocolate turkeys, then you're awesome and my long difficult search may be over, lol.
I'd also be interested in a young Narragansett hen as well.

You may also want to post on the turkey forum... The only place I'm aware of that produces a true chocolate is porters. http://www.porterturkeys.com/ But you might be able to find someone who purchased from him that has extra. You might also try your state thread--but turkeys are your more likely place for success.

Porter's has a smaller minimum order than 20 and will give you what you paid for.

I bought a chocolate poult last year at the Rural King in Bloomington, IN, but I'm not sure where they get their poults (though you could call them and find out). That RK is the only one I know of to sell heritage poults ($14 each). She appears split to bronze, which makes her a chocolate/auburn or a poorly barred chocolate Bb e- She went to live with a friend of mine who has more room, but is still in Indiana.
