Long string poop that is not worm

I got two chicks from the feed store on Saturday. Today (Monday) someone has poop that looks like a long worm, like 3” long. But it’s not a worm. It’s poop that breaks up when I touch it. These are tiny couple day old babies. I did start putting corid in their water yesterday because I thought they might have cocci.

i tossed it before I thought about a pic because I was grossed out. Picture a light colored poop but in the shape of a 3-4” tape worm.

Ya know? I just realized something fascinating about BYC ... Where else can you legitimately ask someone for chicken-poo-pics and not get reported to the authorities ... or at least get seriously lambasted by someone else online? It struck so oddly that I can't stop giggling, now!

Sure your poop wasn't a tapeworm? Did it look like it had segments?

That would be my thought as well, but they say these are chicks less than week old. I can't imagine a 3 inch poop from such a small bird, let alone a worm at that age. This is very mysterious....
