I've used BYC as a resource for a long time, and I thought it was time to join and contribute.
I live on 11 acres about 10 minutes outside Omaha. We've got ~35 hens, a mix of Reds, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Black Australorp and a couple of Ameraucana.
I've also got an adolescent pair of Embden geese we are trying to breed and five little runner ducks.
We are also running our first batch of broilers this spring, so that's new and exciting!
