I've been raising (or helping raise) chickens for about 30 years. We also kept guineas and turkeys. My kids are nearing 4-H age, and chickens have become the family hobby. We are in Montana. My husband is from Mexico and likes game birds and I am mostly Norwegian and like Scandinavian landraces. We currently have a small, mixed-breed backyard flock. We also have a few parakeets, a Rottweiler, three cats, and a frog.
