I owe a thanks to all of BYC. I have learned so much over the years from this site, I figured it was finally time to join.

I started with 10 Ameraucana three years ago and now hover around 50 birds give or take, mostly pets. We now have all kinds of pure and barnyard mix. I don't discriminate between the two and find a yard full of the latter much more pleasing to the eye than a yard full of birds that all look the same.

I hope to keep learning here and perhaps offer some of the lessons I have learned in my time keeping chickens.
